Education: Alan is a Seattle native. He attended North Queen Anne Elementary, Worth McClure Junior High, and Queen Anne High School. He graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1975 with a degree in Business Administration.
Alan became a certified public accountant (CPA) in 1984.
Professional Background: Alan has been at the same location in Ballard since 1983. Alan specializes in taxation matters related to individuals, businesses and estates. He also provides accounting and business services tailored to the varied needs of his clients. Prior to working in Ballard he was employed as an accounting supervisor at Airborne Express. He was responsible for general ledger review, processing and control as well as income and property tax matters related to the states that Airborne operated in.

Personal: Alan is married and lives with his wife, Shigeko, in Edmonds, Washington. They have three grown daughters, Cristin, Alisa, and Beckie.
Alan is a soccer enthusiast. He coached two of his daughters’ soccer teams when they were growing up. Currently, he plays soccer on an all ages co-recreational team, “Just for Fun,” and enjoys watching the professionals play. His favorite player is Lionel Messi and his favorite team is the Seattle Sounders!

Education: Ai Ling graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College of The City University of New York (CUNY) in 1993.
Professional Background: After graduation, Ai Ling served as an accountant with the prestigious City Center of Music & Drama at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. In 1996, she joined the tax department of Hertz, Herson & Company LLP, a mid-size CPA firm in Manhattan.
Upon moving to Seattle in 2000, Ai Ling worked in various positions as a tax specialist. She started her own tax business in 2002 and still continues to serve small businesses and individual clients all over the country. Ai Ling is very successful assisting clients with tax problems and has helped clients save thousands of dollars by filing offers in compromise with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and various states.
Personal: Ai Ling is originally from Malaysia, growing up in a town called Miri on the Island of Borneo, Sarawak. She came to the U.S. in 1989 to pursue her college education in New York City.
After a visit in 1999, Ai Ling fell in love with the natural beauty of the Puget Sound and decided to move to Seattle. She currently resides in Shoreline, Washington, with her husband Craig. Ai Ling enjoys both hiking and gardening, as well as cooking delectable Malaysian dishes. Ai Ling’s favorite hiking trails in the area are in Mt. Rainier and North Cascades National Park. Education: Maille is a Seattle native. She graduated from Mt. Rainier High School and attended both Washington State University and San Francisco State College. She has a degree from Saddleback College, Mission Viejo, California.
Professional Background: After college, Maille moved to Hawaii and worked in the banking industry. She met and married her husband, Jim, a career army soldier. She lived all over the world, helping Army families and military support groups. Upon Jim’s retirement, she came home to her beloved Seattle, and became part-owner of the family property management business.
Personal: Maille and Jim live in Wallingford. They have two children, four grandsons and one granddaughter.
Maille is an ardent sports fan. The Seahawks, the Mariners, and Husky football are her favorites. She loves the outdoors, and can often been seen riding her bike near home, Fremont or Ballard.
